Yam noodles are traditional Chinese noodles made with dough that mixes yam flour with wheat flour. Yams are packed with vitamin B6 and potassium, which are beneficial to the heart.
Yam noodles can be cooked in soup with other vegetables and meat.
You can find yam noodles at Citysuper for 33.8 yuan (US$5.30) per package of 400 grams.
