Solondz's 'sad comedy'

DIRECTOR Todd Solondz's latest movie "Dark Horse" tells of Abe (Jordan Gelber), a man-child in his 30s still living with his parents (Mia Farrow, Christopher Walken), who romances Miranda (Selma Blair), a depressed young woman who also lives at home. Solondz, whose work often deals with dark subject matter, described "Dark Horse" as a "sad comedy."
