Q: What are your favorite hotels? What makes them so memorable?
A: I am fortunate and often stay in Hyatt hotel. We have some stunning properties that offer unique style and experiences. Off the Hyatt map, I enjoy small hotels that offer comfort and really personal service, something different.
Q: What do you value most when choosing a hotel?
A: Friendly personal service and doing the little things right. Great views are a plus to set the mood for a great stay.
Q: What hotels do you look forward to staying at in the future?
A: Southern Ocean Lodge, Kangaroo Island, Australia, Hotel 41 London.
Q: Recommend one of your favorite destinations. Why is it so special?
A: Kyoto and Nara in Japan, the settings and temple gardens are stunning and change so dramatically with the seasons, favorite time is mid-autumn. Superb little hotels and food.
Q: What do you do upon arriving there?
A: Hot bath experience and sushi for dinner.
Q: Best purchase in this destination.
A: Fruit in season — it tastes so real.
Q: Where are you planning to go next and why?
A: April next year, celebrating a special anniversary.
Q: What’s the strangest request that a guest has made at your hotel?
A: Cannot say have ever faced a really strange request, our teams always try their best to understand and respond to guest needs.
