Ctrip 24-hour service set up in South Korea

Online travel operator Ctrip has set up a 24-hour customer service center in South Korea, providing foreign language services to local tourists.

The center in downtown Seoul has about 200 consultants and all of them are South Koreans.

The services currently cover air ticket consultation and aftersales services, and will be expanded to other categories like hotels and rail tickets.

Eighty percent of calls will be responded within 20 seconds and Ctrip provides South Korean currency payment services with partnership of local banks.
