Flowers everywhere across the city

MAGNOLIA trees are in full bloom across the city. PeopleÕs Square, Gongqing Forest Park, Shanghai Botanical Garden, Century Park and Gucun Park are some of the spots to appreciate the city flower.
March, April and May are the best time to appreciate flowers across the city. In April, tulips, sakura, peach blossoms, peonies and azaleas will be in full bloom, and in May, itÕs the time for more peonies, wisteria and China roses.
Many parks feature flower exhibitions. Binjiang Forest Park, with the nationÕs biggest azalea garden among parks, has an azalea exhibition in late April and early May, as well as a lavender exhibition in late May.
Fengxian District is the most popular place to appreciate vast golden fields of yellow rapeseed flowers. The annual appreciation festival will be held from March 26 to April 13 in Zhuanghang Town.
Nanhui in Pudong New Area invites visitors to appreciate peach blossoms in March and April in Huinan Town and Datuan Town.
