Juneyao goes international

SHANGHAI Juneyao Airlines will open its first international route, between Shanghai and Phuket in Thailand, on November 9, with prices from 2,500 yuan (US$ 399). This route replaces Juneyao's previously planned route between Shanghai and Okinawa that has been delayed due to the dispute over the Diaoyu Islands between China and Japan. The airline will operate two flights a week to Phuket using Airbus 320 aircraft. The flights will depart from Pudong International Airport at 8:35pm or 10:35pm, reaching Phuket four hours later.
