Kempinski Suzhou offers world-class amenities

Situated between the picturesque Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Kempinski Hotel Suzhou blends modern metropolitan living with traditional Chinese garden views. The hotel has 458 guest rooms and 77 spacious suites featuring elegant indoor decor and top-class facilities. All rooms overlook either the tranquil Dushu Lake or the 27-hole Jinji Lake International Golf Course. An Executive Lounge is located on the 23rd floor, where premium guests can enjoy their privacy, including a selection of finger-food and beverages.

There are three restaurants and a lobby bar to satisfy all tastes and palates. Paulaner Brauhaus, for example, serves a variety of its onsite brewed German beers. Guests can enjoy a pint or two of fresh brew while listening to live music performances every night. If weather permits, a typical outdoor “beer-garden” will be open.

The award-winning Wang Hu Ge Chinese Restaurant on the hotel’s third floor offer diners a bite of authentic local fare. Suzhou cuisine is famed for its subtle flavors, well-selected ingredients, skillful cooking techniques and pleasing gastronomic aesthetics.

Kempinski Hotel Suzhou is located within a 30-minute drive of each of Suzhou’s railway stations. It is also about 1 hour away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport by car, making it a favored venue among MICE travelers.

The hotel has meeting and conference facilities spread over 8,000 square meters. The pillar-less Grand Ballroom measures more than 1,900 square meters and offers seating for 1,200 guests. The 630-square-meter State Ballroom can seat up to 500 guests. The hotel also has two exclusive board rooms, eight meeting rooms and over 4,000 square meters of outdoor space facing the magnificent Dushu Lake. The hotel is fully covered by Wi-Fi and all meeting rooms feature state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.

To unwind after a long day of travel or work, guests are encouraged to visit Kempinski Suzhou’s wellness center. Close to its 3,000-square-meter fitness center on the first floor is Yang Spa, where five spa treatments are offered, including traditional Chinese acupuncture massage and traditional Balinese therapy treatments. To revive the body, guests can also try tension-reducing exercises involving yoga poses and aromatherapy.

The fitness center is also equipped with an Olympic-size indoor swimming pool as well as jacuzzi and sauna facilities.

For outdoor lovers, if you want to start the day with a refreshing morning jog, consult the hotel’s concierge desk, where jogging maps are available to help direct you to a greenery-lined route.

The hotel’s private lake-side jetty alongside Dushu Lake and its more than 2,000-square-meter lawn are among the top spots for yoga and taiji practices, and other meditation activities. Arrangements can be made with the onsite Sailing Club, either for a pure water based fun trip or even to learn to master the boat by yourself.

There are also cycling maps at the concierge desk to help you better explore the Jinji Lake area and its islets. Close to the Ligong Causeway, Kempinski Suzhou is a dining and entertainment hub in the Suzhou Industrial Park.
