Lakeside fun on the beach

A 5,000-square-meter beach in the National Wetland Park of Suzhou Taihu Lake, which is known as “Little Maldives,” offers a good choice to avoid the summer heat. With a capacity of 3,000 people, it is the biggest lakeside beach in Suzhou. The beach is divided into three parts. The first is a service area with Mediterranean-style townhouses of 1,000 square meters. The second is the beach. The lake sand taken from the upstream of Taihu Lake is said to contain beneficial minerals for the human body. Customers can enjoy a sunbath, play beach volleyball or have a sand bath. The third part consists of shallow-water and deep-water swimming pools. There are more than 30 water activities, such as trampoline and bouncing bed.
