Nanjing coalition pact

The operator of the Niushou Mountain culture and tourist attraction in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, has signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Spring Tour to jointly develop tour itineraries and promote the scenic spot among Shanghai residents.
The Niushou Mountain is a famous Buddhist mountain, with over 30 temples going back to the Southern Dynasty (AD 420-479) and Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907). During the Liang period of Southern Dynasty, temples flourished in Nanjing and the Niushou Mountain was once the core area of Buddhist culture in the city.
The mountain is home to a number of attractions, including Usnisa Palace, Usnisa Pagoda, Usnisa Temple, Niutou Mountain culture park, Yinlong Lake and cliff-side carvings. Major projects such as the Jinling Town and a culture innovation block are under construction around the scenic spot.
The travel agency has organized tours for more than 1,000 travelers from Shanghai to the mountain so far in the second half of this year alone.
