PHOENIX tree flowers are now in full bloom at Yalong Bay. The Third Tropical Paradise Pheonix Tree Flower National Photography Competition attracts many visitors and photographers. The primary selection of entries runs through May 31. Photography experts will name the 36 award winners in June. The first prize winner is awarded 8,000 yuan (US$1,284). The competition’s main goal is to show off the area’s beautiful landscape.
