How often do you travel?
Minimum twice per year not including business trips.
Objective of travel:
To revel in beautiful natural landscapes, to taste local gourmet cuisine, to interact through sharing and learning with local people and to experience exotic cultures.
Favorite traveling style: Traveling with family or close friends with the same interests and habits. When I finish a journey, I always share photos and travel experiences with my family and friends.
How many destinations have you already visited?
I have traveled to over 20 major cities and well-known scenic spots in China such as the Great Wall of China, Inner Mongolia, Xi’an, Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan Province, Lijiang, Guilin, Yangshuo, Taishan Mountain, the home of Confucius in Qufu, as well as Huangshan Mountain. Besides China, I have been fortunate to visit the US, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, Egypt and the Southeast Asian countries of Singapore and Malaysia.
What does traveling mean to you in your life?
Through my travels, my life is enriched as I learn through the art, absorb history, open communication with people from various cultures in different parts of this world.
Q: What kind of hotel will you choose to stay in during a trip?
A: If the destination has a Shangri-La Hotel, I will definitely choose to stay at Shangri-La. For destinations where Shangri-La does not have a presence, a hotel with good location and a high service reputation would be elements on which I place my choice.
Q: What do you value most when choosing a hotel?
A: Convenience supported by warm, friendly and natural service.
Q: Any facility or service that you think is necessary during a hotel stay?
A: A superb breakfast buffet and a swimming pool.
Q: What do you expect most of a hotel for an enjoyable stay?
A: Priceless view, convenience with a comfortable bed.
Q: What do you usually do in a hotel during your stay apart from resting in your room?
A: Spend time experiencing restaurants as well as relaxing by the pool.
Q: How do you book a hotel with an affordable room rate?
A: In this age, the best hotel price available will be via online booking.
Q: Share with us an unforgettable stay in a hotel.
A: During my trip to the Czech Republic, I experienced a wonderful stay at the Hotel Pod Vezi, which is a small boutique hotel in the center of Prague. The hotel location cannot be more perfect, nestled in a quiet area near Charles Bridge. Breakfast was served daily in a cozy room just minutes away from the Charles Bridge.
The staff was very flexible, friendly and helpful. It was an absolutely fantastic experience.

A: Shangri-La Hotel, Paris and Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard London.
Q: Why do you go to Vienna?
A: I was mesmerized by the movie “Sissi” when I was a little girl by both the charm of Sissi and the beautiful landscape of Austria.
Q: What’s so special about it?
A: The mysterious life of Sissi, her love story with the king of Austria, and her maverick characteristics are all very attractive to me. The Austrian landscape is captivating — the forest, castles, churches, rich history as well as the peaceful and beautiful scenery are world-famous heritage.
Q: Any necessities you have to take when going to Vienna?
A: A good camera that can record all the stunning and charming views to build a good memory.
Q: What do you do upon arriving Vienna?
A: Browse the Internet to learn about the local city’s history and culture background to gain better understanding prior to an on-site tour.
Q: Any places you have to visit or things you have see when visiting Vienna?
A: Sissi Museum and her summer palace, the world famous Schonbrunn Palace.
