SPRING is a time for outings and the city is filled with sights and activities during this time of year.
Sanlin Town in Pudong will host a folk culture festival from April 12-20. A flower float parade will be held throughout the festival. Cycling is recommended along Wukang Road in Xuhui District and in the Sheshan area in Songjiang District. A strawberry festival will take place in Baihe Town in Qingpu District through the end of May.
Among the new fun places, the Sinan book market opens every Saturday inside Sinan Mansions. A range of books, including literature, history and architecture are available.
