1 missing, 3 injured in chemical factory blast

ONE worker is missing and three others are injured after an explosion ripped through a chemical plant in the city's Songjiang District early this morning.
The explosion happened at Shanghai Habo Chemical Technology Co around 2:30am. The powerful blast shattered windows of the factory and nearby buildings.
A worker's mishandling of peracetic acid caused the blowup, initial investigation has found. The worker remained missing.
Three co-workers suffered minor injuries and are in stable condition.
Authorities said air quality monitoring showed no environmental hazard in the vicinity of the blast.
Investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
