12 saved, 1 still missing after fishing boat sinks
TWELVE crew members have been rescued from water and one is still missing after a fishing boat sank early this morning at the mouth of the Yangtze River, the Shanghai Maritime Search and Rescue Center said.
The mishap was reported at 7:35am. The center dispatched a helicopter to the area and asked nearby vessels to join in the rescue.
By 8:10am, 12 sailors have been brought to safety, the officials said.
The rescue team is still searching for the missing one.
