18 pupils slightly injured as travel bus got rear-ended by truck near local zoo

EIGHTEEN pupils suffered minor injuries as a bus they boarded collided with an engineering truck this noon near Shanghai Wild Animal Park in Pudong.
Totally 44 passengers were rushed to a hospital in Pudong for treatment with 18 of them confirmed as slightly injured, a hospital source told Shanghai Daily.
The truck reportedly ran into the rear of the bus carrying dozens of pupils and their teachers who were on their autumn outing trip, xinmin.cn reported. The bus rolled over, turned on its side and ended up hitting another vehicle.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
