2 dead after family argument turns violent

Two people were killed and one injured after a family squabble turned deadly in Yangpu District last Sunday, police said.
A 25-year-old man surnamed Zhang was found dead on Sunday afternoon when police were summoned by the neighbors to the residential complex along Zhayin Road.
His wife, a 23-year-old woman surnamed Zheng and her 21-year-old sister were severely injured and rushed to the hospital.
Zheng's life is not in danger now, but her sister died on Monday in the hospital.
Police said the couple had applied for divorce.
Zheng and her sister, both from Tianshui city in Gansu Province, lived in the rented apartment, while Zhang arrived in Shanghai early last week, neighbors told Shanghai TV.
