2 held in car crime

TWO men were detained yesterday for allegedly smashing car windshields and stealing items inside in the Pudong New Area, police said.
The suspects, surnamed Wang and Yang, admitted the offences, said police. More than 10 car windshields were smashed and valuables stolen in two neighborhoods in Caolu Town early Saturday morning, police said. Wang and Yang were caught by police at 3pm in Haiming Road. It is unclear whether these incidents were related to similar cases early this month.
