2 on scooter die

TWO people on an electric scooter were killed yesterday morning in suburban Qingpu District as a cement truck struck their scooter from behind. The fatal crash happened about 10:15am when the truck, reportedly driving fast on Xiangningbang Road, failed to brake and hit the scooter. A man and a woman on it fell under the truck and died on the scene.
