27 companies blacklisted for shoddy products

SHANGHAI Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision yesterday exposed the names of 27 companies who failed to pass a second product quality test, the local Youth Daily reported today.
Shanghai Lixin Furniture Co, Shanghai Digao Gas & Electric Appliances Co, Shanghai Shengkailuo Garment Co, and Shanghai Zhiyi Electric Bike Co are on the blacklist for their shoddy products.
These companies were ordered to suspend production again until their products meet the quality standards. If they fail the third test, their business licenses will be revoked, the bureau said.
