A fire broke out in a warehouse in Pudong New Area yesterday afternoon - the second blaze in the building in just over a month.
No one was injured in the fire that started about 3pm in the logistics warehouse on Xiangyangxu Road in Heqing Town. Plumes of black smoke floated hundreds of meters up into the air, witnesses said.
The fire was put out by 3:40pm and the cause was still under investigation. The warehouse belongs to the Xiangyangxu Logistics Co, and previously caught fire on March 24.
It was uncertain yesterday whether the company will be punished for the repeated fires.
