THREE countries that confirmed participation in the Shanghai World Expo have dropped out.
Kuwait, Bhutan and Burkina Faso have yet to come to arrange their exhibitions at the Expo because of "various difficulties," Hong Hao, director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination told a press conference yesterday.
Vicente Loscertales, secretary general of Bureau of International Expositions, said there was about an 8-10 percent dropout rate at previous Expos.
