3 local officials warned for violating Party’s austerity rules

Three officials in Jinshan District were warned for violating the Party’s eight-point austerity rules, city’s discipline inspection commission said on Tuesday.
The three are Jin Guizhong, a former village official who took 6,600 yuan from others during his son’s wedding ceremony and grandson’s baby shower between March 2013 and December 2014; He Lianyun, an official with the town resettlement office, who also pocketed 14,000 yuan during his son’s wedding and his grandson’s baby shower celebrations, and profited from house demolition or assessment company owners between November 2012 and March 2015; Chen Kang, the deputy director of the local tobacco sales bureau, who was gifted with fruit and cigarettes to attend their meetings.
