5-vehicle pileup kills 1 near Lupu Bridge

One person died and six others were injured in a five-vehicle collision that happened at 11:44am on Jiyang Road, Pudong.
Police said the wounded have been sent to a local hospital for treatment.
After the accident, police closed a ramp from the Lupu Bridge on the Pudong side and traffic returned to normal by 1pm after the damaged vehicles were towed away.
Police said they are still investigating the cause of the accident.
