DINNERS will be available for as little as 15 yuan (US$2.20) inside the World Expo site, according to a detailed list of prices and maps for the 100-plus world-spanning restaurants and cafes released by the Expo organizer yesterday.
In the public areas, the restaurants can accommodate 32,000 diners at once. Almost all the world's cuisine styles will be on offer in the public area. People can choose from fast food to banquets, said the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Pavilions, such as the Expo Culture Center, will have their own restaurants, officials said.
Cafes, convenience stores and bakeries will also be on the site.
