Accused wants copying probe
ZHU Xueqin, a local university professor accused of plagiarism, has called on Shanghai University, where he worked, and Fudan University where he got his PhD degree to investigate the charge.
In anonymous online posts, Zhu was accused of copying from books written by Western researchers for his doctoral dissertation and a local newspaper reported the case. The universities said they hadn't launched an investigation as there had no complaints from named individuals.
