鈥楢ll You Need is Love鈥 opens in cinemas this week

"All You Need Is Love," the directorial feature debut of Taiwanese singer and actor Richie Jen, will hit cinemas across the country on Friday.
Starring Jen and actress Shu Qi, the romance comedy tells the story of a rebellious rich girl and an inn owner on an island in Penghu Bay.
Director Jen said the film is simply about love. They hope to explore the essence of love in the movie and encourage young people to pursue true love in their lives.
He also said he wanted to bring the sea to children in landlocked areas of the country.
"Many kids in remote villages of China don't have a chance to see the sea on their own," said Jen. "But it can't stop their imagination and longing for the sea. It encouraged me to make a heartwarming film with amazing coastal scenery."
