Arrest after Metro fight death

ONE of a gang who allegedly beat a man to death last night at a Metro station in Baoshan District was arrested by police early this morning.
A gang of five were involved in the attack outside the Baoshan Road Station on Metro Line 3 at 7pm yesterday, Eastday.com reported today.
A nearby shop owner said they chased and caught the victim before beating him savagely. One of the men kicked the victim in the head.
The victim, who came from Jiangsu Province and was in his forties, was left bleeding on the ground as the gang ran off.
Police who rushed to the scene found the man dead. The attack was over a row involving stalls, a witness said.
