Art as development tool
CONTEMPORARY art has become a marketing tool for future cities as shown by the "Italian Genius Now - Home Sweet Home" exhibition at the Italy Pavilion.
The works of Italian artists who research space, environment and architecture will be displayed through to July 22.
Organized by the Italy Pavilion and a Tuscany art center, the exhibition shows how innovative art can promote sustainability in developing communities.
"Visitors can be enlightened by artists' imagination of development diversity, new urban achievements and approaches to building and designing a human habitat," said Dr. Marco Bazzini, art center director.
