Arts festival releases 20 yuan tickets

MORE than 14,000 cut-price tickets for the 20th China Shanghai International Arts Festival will go on sale from tomorrow.
The tickets can be purchased at 18 distribution points in the city on October 11, 12 and 16, including the Shanghai City Theater in Minhang District, Heluting Concert Hall in Xuhui District, and community culture centers throughout Shanghai. They are also available at the Shanghai Majestic Theater from October 17 to November 17.
The cut-price tickets cover all programs in the festival, with the lowest price only 20 yuan (US$2.89).
Customers can purchase two tickets for a single performance, with six tickets the limit. They can pay either with cash or by Alipay, accompanied by an ID card.
The distribution points at Shanghai Majestic Theater runs from 10am to 4pm; other downtown points run from 9am to 12am, while those in suburban districts run from 1pm to 4pm.
