OKTOBERFEST, the famous beer bacchanal, will be celebrated in the Germany Pavilion at the World Expo from September 27 to October 2, German officials said yesterday.
The Munich Beer Festival, as it's also known, is a 16-day fling that attracts some 6 million people from across the world every year to down more than a million gallons of beer.
Haindling, a Bavarian jazz-pop band, will perform in the pavilion during the festival.
