A BEAUTY salon in Baoshan District is under investigation after a customer suffered burns during illegal treatment.
The male customer underwent cupping - a traditional Chinese medicine therapy for mobilizing blood flow - on November 25. Later the customer was diagnosed with second-degree burns. The beauty salon was illegally practicing cupping, local inspectors said.
