BesTV, Huayi Brothers ink strategic partnership

BesTV and Huayi Brothers Media Corporation signed a strategic cooperation memorandum today at the 21st Shanghai TV Festival.
The two companies will produce an array of films, micro movies and online series.
Officials from BesTV said they also plan to create a new platform that enables fans to talk and interact with their favorite actors and actresses.
BesTV is an Internet TV service operator owned by Shanghai Media Group, which also owns Shanghai Oriental Pearl, SMG Pictures, Wings Media, Shanghai Interactive TV, and Oriental CJ.
Shanghai Media Group is one of the country’s biggest Internet and media conglomerates.
