Boat with 7 fishermen gone missing off Pudong

Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration received a report yesterday that a wooden fishing boat, Hunanyu 400160, went missing with seven people on board. The boat was about 6 nautical miles from Nanhuizui in Pudong.
The administration immediately activated its emergency plan and issued navigation warnings to nearby ships.
It dispatched search boats to the accident area and coordinated rescue efforts by the Donghai Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, the East China Sea Fishery Bureau, the East China Sea Forecast Center, and the Municipal Emergency Response Center.
According to a report by the Xinhua News Agency, rescue ships, Donghaijiu 169 and Haixun 21, have already arrived in the shipwreck area today to search for the missing boat.
