Body of missing girl, 6, found in cesspit

A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl who went missing on July 20 was found dead in a cesspit near her home at Xianlong Village of Jiading District yesterday morning at about 9am, according to Xinmin.cn.
The girl came from Chongqing City to reunite with her parents working in a construction site a month ago.
The girl's mother recalled that they started looking for the girl when she didn't come back after going out alone at noon on July 20.
They reported her missing to police.
Her mother found one of her slippers at a nearby latrine yesterday morning and called police.
Authorities pumped the cesspit and found the girl's corpse at the bottom.
The case has been preliminarily identified as an accidental death by legal examiners, said Jiading police.
