Boiler explodes at suburban plastics factory, killing 1 and injuring 2

A boiler in a plastics factory of suburban Fengxian District exploded at about 10:15am Thursday, causing one death and two injuries, xinmin.cn said.

The factory, Shanghai Yingtai Plastics Company, is located on No.681 on Nanfeng Highway.

One person died after emergency treatment, while another two injured are still being treated at Fengxian District Central Hospital.

Rescuers are still searching the site in case there are still others buried.
