A 35-YEAR-OLD man was awarded 1,000 yuan (US$157) for his bravery in fighting with a robber, Qingpu District officials said yesterday. Yuan Hao was jogging on Fengzhong Road when he heard screaming and saw a store owner bleeding and a man with a knife demanding money. Yuan wrested the knife from the robber.
