Breakup led to triple stabbing

A MAN who stabbed three people after his girlfriend broke up with him was yesterday jailed for six years by Baoshan District People’s Court.
The court heard that on March 15 security guard Liu Qiang wanted to meet up with his girlfriend but she didn’t want to see him any more.
Liu claimed he had locked her moped and again asked to meet her, prosecutors said.
At the time she was dining with three friends, including two men, which infuriated Liu. He bought a knife and waited.
When Liu’s ex-girlfriend arrived with her three friends, a fight broke out. Liu stabbed the three in the chest and stomach. Two suffered severe injuries.
Afterwards, Liu turned himself in to police.
