Bus crushes man lying drunk in the road

A man was killed by a bus last night while he was lying in the middle of a road in Shanghai and talking on his mobile phone. Witnesses said the man was probably drunk.
The hit-and-run bus driver was caught shortly afterwards and police are still investigating the accident.
The tragedy happened around 10:30pm on Guilin Road in Xuhui District. The victim, around 30, was lying on the ground in the middle of the road when he was overrun by a bus, said a witness surnamed Zhang.
"When I went past the scene, the man was already dead," Zhang said. "A driver told the police that he saw the man was lying on the ground and making a call. He was probably drunk."
The bus fled the scene later.
