Bus hits and injures woman

A WOMAN was injured when she was hit by a bus yesterday evening in Shanghai, according to Xinmin.cn.
The woman was running to catch the bus, which was leaving a station at Gonghexin Road near Wenxin Road, when it hit her, a witness said.
She fell to the ground and was trapped under the rear wheel of the bus. The bus driver called police immediately.
Firemen later arrived and lifted the bus to free the woman. She was sent to a nearby hospital, where doctors said she sustained leg injuries but her life was not in danger.
