Campaign to look for ‘Most Beautiful” female doctors kicks off to honor spirit of dedication and innovation

THE first “Most Beautiful” female doctor election kicked off in the city yesterday to elect the 20 regarded as the most dedicated and innovative from millions of female doctors in the nation. The final winners will be honored in Shanghai in June.

Female doctors have covered over 50 percent of all registered doctors in mainland and their average daily working time is 9.34 hours.

The campaign aims to find female doctors with the best performance and achievements in clinical services, basic research or hospital management. Candidates will be recommended from hospitals and local health authorities to be subject to expert evaluation and online poll.
