PUDONG New Area prosecutors yesterday approved the arrest of two men whose multipurpose vehicle is alleged to have rammed another car during a road chase, leaving two occupants dead. The two suspects, surnamed Xu and Ding, allegedly drove a MPV in a high-speed chase with a Lexus in the Chuansha area in Pudong on January 4. Prosecutors said Xu's MPV hit the Lexus and crushed it against a bridge pier on Huangxia Road, causing the deaths of two people traveling in the Lexus.
