Cash prize for Bruce Lee imitators

VISITORS can win 1,500 yuan (US$220) in cash, a souvenir pin and a T-shirt by posing like Bruce Lee at the Foshan Pavilion in the World Expo's Best Urban Practices Area. The offer is valid until next Monday.

Foshan, a city in Guangdong Province, is home to many Chinese martial artists, including Bruce Lee, Yip Man and Huang Feihong. The Foshan Pavilion, which features Chinese kung fu through rows of sculptures modeled on Bruce Lee, will take pictures of 1,500 visitors mimicking the Hollywood star. Ten of them will be selected by online vote for their most challenging and smart poses.

All participants will get a souvenir pin and a T-shirt with Bruce Lee on it. Their pictures will be exhibited in the pavilion and used as samples to create a 35-meter-high ceramic sculpture dedicated to Chinese kung fu, said Shu Yong, one of the organizers of this activity.
