CITY police are reminding local companies of the dangers of keeping large amounts of cash on their premises following a 35 percent rise in thefts since February compared to the same period last year.
The Shanghai Public Security Bureau said that of 27 cases reported about 60 percent had taken place in Qingpu, Pudong, Fengxian, Songjiang and Jiading districts during the night.
