A capsule, built to rescue 33 miners trapped in a copper mine in Chile, will be exhibited at Expo, said the Chilean Interior Minister Rodrigo Hinzpeter.
Capsule Fenix I will be sent to China, and Fenix II, which was used to rescue the miners, will be placed in Ciudadania Square in Santiago, Chile's capital, and Fenix III will go on display in northern Chilean city Copiapo, where the coppermine is located. The three capsules, built by the Chilean Navy, were made to bring the miners through a 67-centimeter wide tunnel. The rescue was a total success.
