CITY police said they broke up a ring stealing cell phones at Metro stations. Officers with Putuo District said 17 suspects have been caught with nearly 100 cell phones and digital players. Police said they have contacted 26 owners of the stolen goods. The case was uncovered when police discovered the stolen cell phones being sold at local second-hand markets.
