Children鈥檚 forum launches with 鈥楤eautiful Dream Home鈥

Participants in the Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival presented their expectations for a beautiful dream at the “Voice Out in 2014” children’s forum today at the Shanghai International Convention Center in Pudong.
The children’s forum, which was initiated in 2004, provides a platform where minors can present their ideas while making their voices heard by adults. Today’s forum presented the position that children all over the world have the right to fully participate in family, cultural and social life.
With a theme of “The Beautiful Dream Home,” the children’s forum encouraged participants to act like a planner of homes and cities, picturing an ideal where their city is peaceful and homes feature eco-friendly designs. About 20 children gave speeches at the forum, sharing their innovations on clothing, food, housing and transportation.
