China's biggest botanic park to open in Shanghai
CHINA'S biggest botanic park will open in late April, covering 210 hectares near Sheshan Hill in southwest Shanghai's Songjiang District.
Entry fees to Chenshan Botanic Park will be about 70 yuan (US$10.20) but under 50 yuan during its trial run, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.
The price may later vary according to visitor volume and the shows available, the report said.
The park is three times the size of Shanghai Botanic Park, and is home to more than 25,000 plant species.
