Chinese science journal signs deal with US-based Cell Press

Molecular Plant, which is sponsored by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, signed a publishing agreement with US-based Cell Press in Shanghai yesterday.
Under the agreement, Cell Press will market Molecular Plant through its global sales network and increase the visibility of the publication on its website.
Molecular Plant is a professional journal focusing broadly on cellular biology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, development, plant–microbe interaction, genomics, bioinformatics, and molecular evolution.
Launched in 2008, the journal has developed quickly and become one of the leading scientific journals on plants in the world. Collaborating with Cell Press will promote plant research in China, scientists said.
Cell Press publishes worldwide leading science journals including Cell.
