Shanghai Party chief Yu Zhengsheng attended an International Conference of Asian Political Parties this morning in Kazakhstan after a visit to Ukraine.
Yu, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, was leading a delegation on an official visit to Ukraine since September 20.
Four of his group were hurt in a head-on car crash yesterday, some Chinese media reported today. One suffered a fractured skull while three others were slightly injured.
