City lights out for the environment

LANDSCAPE lights around the city's People's Square and government office buildings will be switched off for an hour on Saturday as the city government participates in the Earth Hour campaign.
The Shanghai Musuem, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and the fountain in People's Square will join other buildings in the city be in darkness from 8:30pm to 9:30pm as part of the worldwide campaign to raise environmental awareness.
